Fuel Ethanol/Distillery

Many countries have started clean and sustainable energy resource development and there for sure will be more. One of the primary projects is to add fuel ethanol industry in gasoline to reduce the dependence of fossil petroleum in the countries that have abundant starch sources. Basically the starch sources are corn, wheat and cassava. The major process of ethanol production is starch liquefaction, saccharification, fermentation and distillation, which requires efficient alpha-amylase, glucoamylase and yeast.
 
For potable alcohol or distillery industry, the process is very similar to fuel ethanol, but the production size is smaller and materials are normally wheat, barley and oat.
 
Suntaq has been focusing on fuel ethanol/distillery industries for years. We recently introduced our new Thermal-stable alpha-Amylase for liquefaction, which is very active at lower pH range. For the rest process, we also have high conversion Glucoamylase for saccharification, strong Acid Protease for nitrogen improvement, and very efficient NSP enzymes for viscosity reduction.
