SQzyme CSL is a highly concentrated Acid Cellulase (EC 22.214.171.124), which hydrolyses carbonhydrate cellulose to oligose and glucose.
SQzyme CSL is produced from refined strain Trichoderma reesei through submerged liquid fermentation. It has three activities (endo- and exo-cellulase and beta-glucanase side activities). With the excellent synergistic effect, it can effectively reduce viscosity in cereal-based mashes when used in the production of alcohol and fuel ethanol. It is also broadly used in industries of food processing, brewery, animal feed, textile and etc.

Working at pH 4.0-7.0, optimum 4.5-5.5; working temperature 30-70°C , favorable 50-55°C .

Enzyme requirements and performance are based on the type and quality of grain, the physical and chemical properties of the substrate, the substrate concentration, the desired degree of hydrolysis, and the process and processing conditions.
