SQzyme XSL-NB is a high concentrated liquid xylanase (E.C. 18.104.22.168), which is made from a refined fungal strain Trichoderma reesei through submerged liquid fermentation and refined extraction technology.
SQzyme XSL-NB rapidly degrades β-1,4-xylosidase from xylan molecule and hydrolysate to be xylo-oligosaccharides and xylose. It is rich in endo- β-1,4-xylanase, an enzyme that hydrolyzes the xylan component in cereal grains. And it also contains high side activity of beta-glucanase. With the excellent synergistic effect, it can effectively reduce viscosity in cereal-based mashes when used in the production of alcohol and fuel ethanol.

Enzyme requirements and performance are based on the type and quality of grain, the physical and chemical properties of the substrate, the substrate concentration, the desired degree of hydrolysis, and the process and processing conditions.
